I am running to represent you, plain and simple. I will be your voice on city council fighting for and working on what matters to you.
Barrie is constantly growing and adding intensification development to keep up with the demands of expansion. This momentum must be guided thoughtfully, and purposefully in order to ensure that Barrie’s neighbourhoods, waterfront, and park spaces are safeguarded as they are the heart and soul of Barrie.
Barrie has wonderful recreation programs, reliable emergency services and a transit system that provides complete access across the City. I believe In this time of inflation, strategic budget cuts/compromises and working efficiently in order to avoid raising taxes is a necessary requirement of counsel. Maintaining the high level of services at a dependable and consistent stellar level of availability can not be compromised while achieving these budget goals.
The infrastructure we currently have needs to be bolstered to support constant growth and development in Barrie. Affordable housing, enhanced road rehabilitation, and continued beautification of the downtown core is necessary in order to fortify the plans Barrie has started.
If we join together and make our voices heard, we can fight for the change we want to see!
